What is PSE?
The purpose of the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry(METI) in Japan is to prevent hazards and disturbances resulting from electrical appliances. There have been more and more accidents about lithium-ion battery explosion recently. Therefore, regulations on the lithium-ion battery were included and came into effect on November 20, 2008.
The lithium-ion battery used in electrical appliances must meet every mandatory technical requirement in the law and must be labeled with the PSE mark (circle for battery & diamond for charger). Failure to do so will not be allowed to sell or use in Japan.
The Japan circle PSE mark can be regarded as the strictest regulations for the lithium-ion battery nowadays.
Warranty Terms
The DARKBUSTER LED-12 carries 1 years warranty under normal and intended use. The product is treated as exclusion from warranty if:
The product has been found to be defective after expiry of the warranty period.
The product has been subjected to misuse, abuse, or unauthorized repair, whether by accident or other cause. Such conditions will be determined by Brightstar Tchnology Co., Ltd in its sole unfettered discretion.
Li-ion battery comes with 6 months of warranty period (starting from delivery date)
