Environmental Test: Each waterproof light case goes through pressure tank test (more than 100M underwater)  
Electrical Test: Each light unit goes through necessary functional tests like initial turn on and off, luminous output, color temperature, battery charge and discharge, etc.
Durability Test: continuous on and off within a certain period, continuous light on for a certain period, light on with vibration, etc.
Appearance Inspection: Each finished product goes through strict Out-going Quality Control (OQC) check in terms of product appearance, packaging, etc. before delivery.

Engineering and production teams begin, manufacturing metal halide lamps and electronic ballasts for stage lighting, commercial lighting, etc.
Expanding product lines to HID bulbs, ballasts, conversion kits for auto headlights
With increasing demands for lower power and more compact HID components from global well-known handheld light makers, 10W~24W products were born.
Also, BRIGHTSTAR launches its 1st HID dive light.
Applied for product liability insurance to further support B2B clients free from quality, claim, after sales issues and to make end-users feel safe and reliable.

BRIGHTSTAR rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are PSE approved to comply with consumer regulations in Japan and UN manual 38.3 required by IATA for transportation safety.
Several of BRIGHTSTAR LED flashlights, lanterns are ATEX certified for explosive, hazardous atmosphere, making them the most robust and heavy-duty lights all over the world along with their rechargeable (lithium-ion) and IP68 (waterproof) features.
